As the vision industry has matured with easier-to-use products, one thing remains the same - vision projects are inherently complex. The development and deployment of a vision system requires an experienced vision engineer that can avoid potential problems that arise when combining high technology from multiple domains (PLC communications, vision architecture, real world lighting and optics, human intervention). Let our vision consultants step you through the process. They are well-trained and bring a minimum of five years of hands-on experience. We support the following Cognex product lines: In-Sight®, VisionPro®, MVS-8000®, and CVL.

Evaluation & Assessment. Before entering into a service agreement, MVC assesses your vision needs by reviewing your vision requirements and determining the service that will best meet your needs. We then provide to you an easy-to-understand quotation. This assessment phase is free of charge.

Our complementary Evaluation & Assessment service is the first step in formulating an action plan that encompasses one of the following offerings:

FastTrack. A two to five day vision consulting effort where we work directly with your engineer(s) to ensure your vision system is meeting your system requirements. At the conclusion of this service, your engineer will be able to develop custom vision applications. This service is for the Cognex In-Sight® and VisionPro® product lines only.

TroubleShoot. A valuable service when you are having problems with your existing vision application or system. Our vision consultant will travel to your site, evaluate and assess the problem, make recommendations, and when possible, solve the problem.

VisionComplete. A valuable service when you need to supplement your vision application development. Our engineer(s) will develop the entire vision application based on your specific requirements.

TechSupport. A valuable service for companies who have encountered a challenge in their own vision system implementation. This service enables a company to draw on MVC's deep technical knowledge as needed over time without having to bring a consultant onsite.

Training. A valuable service to complement and enhance your vision application whether it was developed by us or by you. Our vision trainer will travel to your facility and train up to four engineers or technicians on your vision application and the In-Sight product.

Documentation. A valuable service to complement and enhance your vision application whether it was developed by us or by you. Our technical documentation developer can produce all forms of documentation, from printed books to cost-effective online products, such as Adobe Acrobat files, HTML web pages, and Windows Help systems.
